Well, let’s talk about this Raw Challenge.


A raw diet is simply a dietary practice that involves consuming food – usually a plant based diet – that is in its natural state, that is, fresh, whole, unrefined, unprocessed and which has not been altered by the process of cooking.

A Daniel fast simply consists in eating a plant based diet, often for spiritual reasons, such as the Bible prophet Daniel did. The Bible reports that Daniel and his companions “looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food.” (Daniel 1:15)


Plants, in their natural state are living; they contain enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and other compounds which, when subjected to heat (as low 110 degree celsius) are denatured, destructured, oxydized, carcinogized, and caramelized.

Not only do cooked food loses a large part of its nutritious value, but scientific studies have proven that our immune system responds to cooked food in a much similar way that it responds to toxins or foreign bodies.


The time is NOW!!

Most of our food contains additives, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, coloring agents, fungicides, pesticides, and other toxic and carcinogenic substances. Our cooked food lacks the nutrition that our cells need to allow them to detoxify, repair, renew and function optimally.

This powerfully destructive way of eating has weakened our immune system, starved our cells, disturbed our digestive system, obstructed our ability to absorb nutrients, overworked our kidneys and liver, and produces the perfect environment for disease to develop. Many of us have been driving on reserve. There is just no time to waste and absolutely no reason to wait!

Now that you know a little bit more about what a raw diet is, here is what this challenge will consist of:

10 days

Eating a raw plant-based diet: any variety of uncooked fruits, vegetables, legumes, roots,
seeds and nuts.

We suggest that you add:

a consistent daily regimen of at least half of body weight in ounces (preferably mineral or alkine water if you can, but at least water that has been filtered; avoid straight tap or bottle drinking water if possible)

How to determine how much water to drink: if I weight 160lbs, half my body weight will be 80 ounces which is equivalent to 11 glasses of water (1 glass/cup of water is about 8 ounces)

supplementation with digestive enzymes, probiotics and minerals to optimally support your body’s physiological needs during this time of transition from your regular diet
